Bas, born Abbas Hamad on May 27, 1987, is a Sudanese-American rapper with French roots. He joined J. Cole’s Dreamville Records, an Interscope Records imprint, to release his debut album Last Winter in 2014, which received positive reviews and charted on the Billboard 200.
